Stop asking “which framework wins.” Start asking “what does this app actually need.”

The 2026 debate — Flutter vs Kotlin Multiplatform vs native — is mostly noise, because there is no universal winner. The useful questions are about the product and the team:

- How native does the UX need to feel — deep platform APIs, the newest OS features? - How much of the work is shared logic vs platform-specific UI? - What are your startup, app-size and memory budgets? - What does your team already know — and can you realistically hire for it?

A fintech onboarding flow, a mobile game and a content app answer those questions completely differently — so they deserve different stacks. The right choice fits the product and the team, not the trend.
